Commuters' Problem Solved - A Jetpack by Martin AirCraft

The problems of commuting in the urban cities cause a lot of concern. However, this issue has not been neglected. Many engineers have been working on the new projects to help commuters shorten their journeys.  Although many of the project were unsuccessful or not realistic, New Zealand's company Martin AirCraft has created a 1 person jetpack that should go for sale in 2016.

According to a professor of railway studies, Colin Divall, sometimes slow commuting is better than fast travel, and it is all about city design and the work culture that should be designed to minimise the need for people to move.
Although the latest technologies allows us to communicate virtually, it does not seem to solve the problem of commuting: the numbers of part-time or contract workers are increasing, while the office spaces that are designed to adopt the 'moving' work culture are on the rise also.
