Have A Small Home? Not A Problem!



You could think it is impossible to make small homes a nice place to live in. And yes, indeed, it could be very challenging when it comes to home decor. However, there are plenty of creative home interior designers that worked with small spaces and created a wonderful job.

This small studio apartment was designed to maximise space, while separating bedroom from the living room. The curtains creates a wall effect - nice white and black stripes used to add a pattern and is also a part of a vintage interior design.

Although the house was built back in 1920s, homeowner has managed to renew it and create two separate spaces. These two rooms has a similar design: red colour sofa and same colour chairs, as well as black wall in one room and black curtains in another - creates a continuity across the spaces.

A comparatively small living room designed to look big and spacious. The mirror on the right creates an extra space to the room, while bright colour walls makes room larger. The interior design features bright colours and dark wood colours combinations.

Despite the fact room interiors were created for a hotel, it could be an alternative way to design a small studio apartment. A featuring wall containing pictures adds a character to the room, while pillows and flowers are the final touches in this space.

A bookshelves integrated into a wall brings an unusual design, while the mirror adds an extra space or works as a picture decor. A metal design lamp is a featuring decoration matching the colour of the brick wall, while the seat with a stylish pattern creates a new look while matching the colours and shades of the bookshelves.

An alternative design for a very small flats or apartments with the high ceilings. You can always get creative and think of new ways to make the most of the small space. In this example above, homeowner has chosen to locate the bedroom above the kitchen. Although the bed could be separated  from the kitchen interiors using a nice pattern metal partition decor, it seems to be a clever way of saving the space.
